The Labor Law can not Punish Computer Monitoring


Taipei Labour said yesterday, the labor disputes between 104 LaiXing female employees and the human bank is not sesolved because the mediation fails and the worker had sued to the tailand Labour to solve the problem through judicial channels.

LaiXing staff said, she was forced to sign labor contract and voluntarily terminate covenant to hire and then leave the office, but the company said it is not involving with restriction of personal freedom and all the fact shall be determined by the judicial. Now they are not able to determine if there is any illegal action because both sides have their own words.

As to the labor contract, shall the company monitor pc activity or if employee electronic communications violates labor laws? The office said, labor law did not expressly stated in contract, it depends on the case of the actual situation. In order to execute the contract contents and damage to the right to work, labor case has entered the judicial procedure and shall be determined by the court, said Labour workers.
